Since this was a “straight to video” release (yes that’s the term I’m going to use), I guess I had this unconscious belief that this was going to be a more simplistic, and FUN, modern horror release as opposed to an overly-deep Elevated Horror situation. Sadly, I was wrong.

I slowly chipped away at this film over the course of several terrible days, and finished it off on a headache day. It was kind of interesting making my way through a stressful and upsetting film during a time I wasn't very happy myself. I was interested in this film because I LOVE parlour games. Bloody Mary, Ouija boards, seances, stuff like that. Talk To Me centers around a loosely-connected group of teens who have come into possession of an artifact which facilitates a mediumistic experience. Overall, I really had a fun time with this film.

Pros:

-Excellent storytelling format. It was a little chaotic for me at first, everyone talking so fast and it felt like we were jumping around etc. b
